Every classroom is diverse. Learners have different strengths, interests, backgrounds and ways of learning. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) helps teachers plan lessons that reduce barriers and provide meaningful opportunities for every learner to participate and succeed.

In this course, you will explore the principles of UDL and learn practical strategies for designing flexible, accessible and engaging learning experiences. Through real classroom examples, practical activities and reflection, you will discover how small changes in lesson design can make learning more inclusive for all learners.

During this course, you will learn how to design lessons using the three principles of Universal Design for Learning: providing multiple means of engagement, representation, and action and expression. By the end of the course, you will be better prepared to create learning environments where every learner has the opportunity to participate, learn and succeed.

This course provides a foundation for creating inclusive, learner-centred classrooms and using digital technology purposefully in teaching and learning. It introduces the key principles of inclusive education and demonstrates how digital tools can support meaningful learning for all students.

Throughout the course, you will develop practical knowledge and skills that will help you plan engaging lessons, respond to diverse learning needs and integrate digital technology effectively into your teaching.
